I am a postdoctoral researcher in linguistics at
the Department of Languages and Literatures
at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. I
am originally from Belgium (the northern Dutch-speaking part) and currently live in
Gothenburg.
My research interests are language variation and change studied from a functional perspective. I have mainly worked on emerging verb constructions, word order variation and phonological variation in Dutch.
I currently work on the project The emergence of periphrastic verb constructions in Dutch. A construction grammar approach to language change funded by the Swedish Research Council.
